She Corporate continued with their impressive performance this season picking a point in the top of the table clash against Kampala Queens.

The Sharks ended the first round of the 2021/22 season unbeaten, winning six and drawing three to maintain their grip at the top of the log

The Nakawa based side needed to come from down twice to snatch a point off Kampala Queens at IUIU Ground, Kabojja.

Resty Nanziri fired Kampala Queens into an early lead in the 4th minute but She Corporate responded six minutes later through a well-taken free-kick by Phiona Nabbumba.

Zaina Nandede headed home in the 31st minute as the hosts regained their lead but a spirited display in the second half from She Corporate saw captain Naome Nagadya getting the equalizer.

The result means She Corporate remain top on 21 points, five above second-placed Kampala Queens.

The chasing pack in UCU Lady Cardinals and Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC failed to attain maximum points thus losing ground in the title race.

Action between Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and Olila High School WFC.

UCU Lady Cardinals conceded a late goal (scored by Catherine Nagadya) against Uganda Martyrs WFC thus remaining third on 13 points.

Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC on the other hand was held to a goalless draw by Olila High School WFC.

In the other games played on matchday 9, Lady Doves FC continued with their resurgence, picking a 2-1 win over Rines SS WFC in Wakiso.

Lydia Nyandera and Dorcus Kwikiriza scored a goal each while Joanita Ainembabazi got the consolation for Rines SS WFC.

The win took Lady Doves FC further from the relegation zone.

Tooro Queens have held at home to a one-all draw by She Maroons. Ruth Nyakato gave the home side the lead but She Maroons rallied back to get the equalizer through Rachael Nassimbwa.
