Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has officially opened the three-day National Performance and Review Conference at Speke Resort Munyonyo, bringing together top government officials and key stakeholders to assess Uganda’s development progress.

The conference, which runs from April 15 to 17, has attracted ministers, Resident District Commissioners (RDCs), district leaders, civil society representatives, and development partners. The meeting is focused on evaluating local government performance and tracking the implementation of national development priorities, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In her remarks, Nabbanja underscored the importance of accountability and results, noting that the forum is intended to measure whether government programs are translating into real impact for citizens.

“This conference is not just about policy and vision, but about performance ensuring that national plans, budgets, and institutions are delivering measurable outcomes,” she said.

Held under the theme “Coordinated Actions for Accelerated National Socio-Economic Transformation amidst Global Partnership Reform,” the conference aims to strengthen coordination among stakeholders and accelerate service delivery across the country.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected to officiate as the Chief Guest, highlighting the significance of the event in shaping Uganda’s development agenda.

Deliberations over the three days will focus on identifying performance gaps, improving efficiency in public service delivery, and reinforcing the government’s commitment to sustainable and inclusive growth.
