Kampala: St Julian High School Gayaza has registered out standing performance in Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results for 2023 examinations which were released earlier today with six of their candidates scoring 20 points.

”Our students of Gayaza campus have performed extremely well. 6 of our students 20 Points. We thank God, Teachers , parents and students themselves for the great results. Below are our 6 students who scored 20 Points. Congratulations to them and the school at large” the school management confirmed through their socials.

NKWANGA MICHEAL

Among the celebrated successful candidate is Paul Lutaya, who according to the school had been part of the Gayaza campus since S1. His journey from scoring 8 in 8 during at O Level and now to achieving the highest points A Level.

”Very important to note is that Paul LUTAYA has been with us from S1 to S6, he scored 8 in 8 during his S4. We thank you all for supporting the struggle from day one. Always trust us to craft your child into a meaningful citizen of this country” the school noted.

Earlier today, Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) released results from the 2023 UACE exam results and St Julian High School is one of the schools whose students have excelled with high grades that will see them pursue different careers in higher institutions of learning.

Speaking during the official release of the results at State House Nakasero in Kampala, UNEB, executive Director Dan Odongo noted that ”a total of 110,553 candidates registered for the 2023 UACE examination from 2,102 centers compared to 97,890 candidates from 1,969 centers in 2022. This is an increase of 12,663 candidates (12.9%). Of these, 47,226 (42.7%) were females and 63,339 (57.3%) were males”.
