St Lawrence Crowned Champions Of FUFA Uganda Beach Soccer 2020/21

St Lawrence Beach Soccer Club was crowned champion of the 2020/21 league edition on Thursday 15th, April 2021 following superb performances throughout the eight days tournament that were played at FUFA technical center, Njeru.

The Champions collected 27 points from ten matches played having gathered nine Victories and lost once.

Buganda Royal Beach Soccer Club was in second place with 22 points while the defending  Champions MUBS BSC was in the third position with 19 points.

St Lawrence’s Swalleh Simbwa finished on top of the scorers’ chart with 30 goals followed by Buganda Royal’s Ambrose Kigozi at 27 and Abby Kavuma at 19 goals.

Buganda Royal’s Kigozi was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament, Fair play award was given to Adam Kato of MUBS BSC while the best goalkeeper was from St Lawrence BSC.

Meanwhile, St Lawrence’s Davis Nnono was named best coach of the season. Other awards; Ronald Mutebi, Davis Kasujja, Liika Byaruhanga, Ambrose Kigozi and Swalleh Simbwa were named best five of the season.

Six clubs participated in this year’s edition and these include, Champions St Lawrence BSC, Buganda Royal BSC, MUBS BSC, Mutoola BSC, Kiringente BSC, and Entebbe sharks BSC.
