Stanbic Uganda Cup Games To Be Broadcast Live On TV-FUFA Confirms

Kampala: FUFA’s Communications Director, Ahmed Hussein, says that they agreed with UBC to broadcast the first round of the 32 games and will keep upgrading at every level of the tournament as the discussions continue.

The first live game will be on Monday, April 05 between nine-time Champion SC Villa and Ndejje University FC at Bombo Military ground and the Tuesday game will see holders Proline FC at home to MYDA FC at Lugogo.

Full Fixture That Will Be Live On UBC

Wednesday will see 2018 Champion KCCA FC against Nyamityobora at Lugogo while BUL FC will host Blacks Powers of Bukedea at Kyabazinga Stadium.

Friday will be occupied by an all-top flight affair between Busoga United and 2016 Champions Vipers FC at FUFA Technical Center before another Big League affair on Sunday between Mbale Heroes and Gadafi FC at Mbale Municipal Stadium.

Officially, Proline FC is still the defending Champions after last year’s competition was declared null and void due to Covid-19, however.

KCCA FC was given a chance to represent the country at the 2020/21 CAF Confederation Cup where they had an unconvincing run and were eliminated at the first hurdle.
