Stay Home: Video Of President Museveni Exercising Indoors Goes Viral

A video of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni doing physical exercises inside one room has leaked gone viral on social Media.

President Museveni tweeted photos of him doing 30 press ups

During his ninth National Address about Coronavirus, on Wednesday night, President Museveni banned public and outdoor exercising, saying that it encourages gatherings, yet this breeds fertile grounds for the spread of Coronavirus.

He also revealed that when he and other National Resistance Army (NRA) fighters were in Libya,  they used to  do exercises inside hotel rooms, because the Arabs were hostile.

He then promised to share a video  showing Ugandans how they can do physical exercises within very little space and here are some of the snapshots from the video, plus the video itself, which he accompanied with the caption below;

 “Yesterday, I discouraged people who have been jogging in groups, exposing themselves to risk amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. You do not have to go outdoors to exercise. Here is my demonstration of how you can exercise indoors and stay safe.

In the video, Museveni is seen running from one end of the room to another several times, , before he does 30 press ups!

He then tells the nation that that “After that, you can run around the compound.”
