Former Lubaga South legislator Kato Lubwama has responded to social media rumours that he is dead noting that he is still alive and soon will be discharged.
Kato Lubwama was flown to Turkey last month for surgery but ever since he left, his photos looking critically ill and reports that he is in a sorry state have been making rounds on social media.
In contrary, Kato says he is improving and warned those using his health situation to con Ugandans of their monies claiming to be fundraising for him to stop it.
“Those announcing me dead, I am not going to die soon and stop fundraising for my hospital bills. I have family friends everything will be sorted,” says Kato Lubwama.
In 2020, the Abantu Bazibu singer was hospitalized for months at Medipal International hospital in Kampala where he underwent two major successful surgeries.
Doctors then said the dramatist had two big tumours removed from his colon.
Ever since he was trounced in the 2021 elections, the flamboyant dramatist has in the past months been entertaining his fans on his social media pages, especially on Facebook and Twitter where he has been regularly posting videos of himself and wealthy friends ‘eating life”.
