Fun and merry making hovered over Ggaba Mosque on Eid El-Fitr on Friday as Rajiv Ruparelia, son to property mogul Sudhir Ruparelia came with good news to the Muslim community at Ggaba Mosque when he donated 900 kilograms of sugar to over 300 Muslims.
Rajiv donated the items through Ruparelia Group Foundation not only as a way of giving back to the Muslim community, but also appreciating them for successfully completing the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Rajiv Ruparelia was represented by Ruparelia Group Foundation Operations Manager Hajji Ahmed Bongo who handed over the sugar to the leaders at the Mosque.
Moslems who couldn’t hide their excitement thanked Rajiv and the Foundation for the good gesture, vowing to continue supporting the Ruparelia Group of Companies.
Rupaleria Group has been involved in many charitable activities as a way of giving back to the communities. In March 2018, Sudhir Ruparelia adopted a 20 yr old Chimpazee at Ngamba Sanctuary and named it after him, Ruparelia.
