Trusted Brand: Gen Muhoozi Flies Uganda Airlines To Kigali

Uganda’s first son Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has landed in Rwanda’s capital Kigali aboard Uganda Airlines, a brand that has since attracted local and international businessmen and top diplomats.

Muhoozi via his Twitter handle said that he is returning to Kigali to visit President Kagame to discuss farming.

Gen Muhoozi said, “I am happy to announce that I will soon visit our father, His Excellency Paul Kagame, to learn more about cattle breeding.”

This becomes Muhoozi’s third trip to Rwanda and on all trips, he has used Uganda Airlines. In March this year, he praised the Airline for its efficient and excellent services.

According to Muhoozi, Uganda Airlines is quickly proving to be one of the best airlines in the world.

”I want to thank the amazing, efficient and excellent @UG_Airlines crew that took our delegation to Kigali and back. @UG_Airlines is quickly proving to be one of the best airlines in the world!,” tweeted Muhoozi in March 2022.

Uganda Airlines is the flag carrier of Uganda. The company is a revival of the older Uganda Airlines which operated from 1977 until 2001. The current carrier began flying in August 2019 and has made tremendous success.

According to the airline’s business plan, in the 2nd year of operation, the national carrier had planned to have 18 and four (4) regional and international routes respectively, but this was hindered by the COVID-19 effects.

As of today, Uganda Airlines boasts of a couple of operational routes including; Nairobi, Mombasa, Dubai, Kinshasa, Johannesburg, Juba, Dar es Salaam, Mogadishu and Bujumbura.
