Munyonyo, Kampala-Renowned businessman and philanthropist Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia has once again demonstrated his deep commitment to community service by hosting children from less privileged backgrounds to a sumptuous Christmas lunch at Speke Resort Munyonyo, spreading joy, love and hope during the festive season.

The colorful event brought together children from surrounding local communities who enjoyed a carefully prepared Christmas meal, fun activities, games and moments of laughter in the serene environment of the lakeside resort. For many of the children, it was a rare opportunity to experience the magic of Christmas in a setting that celebrated dignity, care and inclusion.

Spreading Christmas Joy Through Giving

The luncheon forms part of the broader Christmas outreach spearheaded by the Ruparelia Foundation, which throughout the past week has been visiting ghettos in Kamwokya and other underprivileged areas across Kampala. The foundation has been sharing gifts, food items and words of encouragement with vulnerable families and children, reinforcing the spirit of togetherness and compassion that defines the Christmas season.

This year’s outreach carries special significance as it is being conducted in memory of the late Rajiv Ruparelia, whose life was marked by generosity, humility and a strong passion for uplifting communities. Those who knew Rajiv remember him as a young philanthropist who believed deeply in giving back and supporting the less fortunate.

Honoring A Legacy Of Generosity

Speaking through the foundation’s actions, the Ruparelia family continues to honor Rajiv Ruparelia’s legacy by touching lives where it matters most. The Christmas initiatives reflect a long-standing tradition within the Ruparelia family of using success to positively impact society.

Parents, community leaders and children expressed heartfelt gratitude for the kindness shown, noting that such gestures restore hope and remind communities that they are seen, valued and loved.

As the festive season continues, the Ruparelia Foundation’s Christmas activities stand as a powerful reminder that true celebration lies in sharing, compassion and service to humanity.
