For the uninitiated, a barge is a robust, flat-bottomed vessel specially designed for hauling heavy cargo across waterways. Unlike conventional boats, barges prioritize stability and capacity over speed, enabling them to ferry vast volumes of goods—ranging from building materials and food supplies to luxury commodities—with remarkable ease.
