Tycoon Sudhir, URA Boss Akol Captain Their Teams In Tax Derby 2019

Kampala: City tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia and Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Commissioner-General Dorris Akol on Friday October 4, 2019 afternoon led their teams in a charity football match they played at Legends Sports grounds in Lugogo.

The match was played between two teams; URA Vs Tax Payers. So Dr Sudhir was captain team CEOs of Top Tax Payers, while Akol captained team URA.

TheSpy has learnt that proceeds from the charity football match will be channelled to Buwama Primary School to help construct a classroom block.

The Tax Derby is part of the activities that URA lined up to happen during the Tax Payers’ Appreciation Month.

There was a lot of interaction and networking after the soccer match, during which corporate figures from various companies fraternised with each other.
