Kampala: Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) has released 2021 examinations road map following the opening of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutions on 1st November 2021.
Established by the BTVET Act 2008 and operationalized by the statutory instrument 2009.No.9, UBTEB says began with the registration of candidates on 8/11/2021 and will end on 24/11/2021 December 2021.
UBTEB’s mandate is to streamline, regulate, coordinate and conduct business, Technical Examinations and Awards including specialized training.
The Board adds that shall conduct examinations in two phases. The first examinations shall start on the 13th and end on the 22nd December 2021. The second examination series shall commence on 24th January 2022 and end on 4th February 2022.
The Board conducted the first examination series in 2011 in the whole country. This year marks 10 years since UBTEB started operations.
Infact, we have since learnt that the Board has organized events to celebrate 10 years including regional meetings with stakeholders and corporate social responsibility events across the country which will climax with a conference and Dinner on 25th March 2022.
