The said land measures approximately 14.62 hectares and has a health Center III, 2 cattle dams, LC 11 Administrative Units, playgrounds among others.

State House Anti Corruption Unit which arrested Tumwiine revealed that he was found in possession of two Ministry of Land Identity Cards indicating that he is the Senior Staff Surveyor of Masaka and Mbarara districts.

”He also had land applications, original land files & land titles. He further tried to bribe our officials by sending his friend, Mungereza Edward who was also arrested for offering and giving UGX5m with the purpose of making them release Tumwiine Evarist,” said the Unit last week.

Now, in another update, the Unit has revealed that it has also arrested a one Buryo David accusing him of fraudulently facilitating the acquisition of a title on the said government land in the names of an unknown person Akankwasa Rogers.

”The said Rogers purportedly sold the land to a one Edna, a real estate dealer who sold it to Buryo,” says the Unit.
