KCCA FC is in celebration mode following a victory against the defending champions Vipers which was cut short by the prisons side Maroons FC on Friday after stunning the Kasasiro boys 1-0 in the Star Times Uganda Premier League at Luzira prison ground.

Fred Amaku’s 65th minute goal was the difference between the two sides at full time giving the home side a redemption from the previous 3-0 defeat to Arua Hills.

As expected, the Kasasiro boys possessed the ball but struggled to convert opportunities created to the back of the net with the best chance being a penalty awarded to them following a hand ball by David Ndihabwe but the Congolese striker Tshisungu Kankonde hit the woodwork.

Later when Amaku served Morley Byekwaso’s boys with painful test, KCCA failed to respond hence Amaku being the hero of the day before the home fans.
