BUL Football Club unveiled two new players on Tuesday in preparations for the new Star Times Uganda Premier League season.
In the official statement released by the club, it stated that they were pleased to announce the signing of two new players, midfield schemer, Jerome Kirya and center back Douglas Muganga.
The two signed a two-year contract each and joining the Jinja based outfit from neighbours, Busoga United.
“I am happy to join BUL FC and I am ready to give all I can to help the team succeed,” Kirya said after signing his contract.
Team Manager Alex Isabirye said the youngster was the missing piece in his team.
He noted, “We struggled a lot in the midfield last season. We needed someone who can create chances and I think he is that ‘boy’ Kirya. He is young, creative and very talented. I believe that problem is now solved.”
The midfield schemer made his debut in the Uganda Premier League in the 2018/19 season after his meticulous growth through the youths ranks of his former team.
Meanwhile, Muganga said, “I am excited to be part of BUL FC and I promise fans success only.”
BUL FC has so far recruited seven players in an attempt to strengthen the team and these include; Saidi Keni, Hannington Ssebwalunyo, George Kasonko, Ibra Nsimbe and Ivan Wani and the already mentioned duo signings above.
