She had earlier been booked in the first half and brought down Shakira Nyinagahirwa thus referee Habiba Naigaga sending her off.

Both Kawempe Muslim and Tooro Queens made one change in the teams that had started their previous games against Uganda Martyrs and Makerere University respectively.

Nassazi started in place of Juliet Nalukenge for Kawempe while Imelda Kasemire replaced Maureen Afoyo for Tooro Queens.

Kawempe took the lead in the 18th minute when Nassazi lashed onto a long ball from Hadijja Nandago to slot past onrushing goalkeeper Gloria Namakula.

Four minutes later, Kawempe had the chance to double the lead but Margaret Kunihira who had been fouled in the area failed to convert from the spot.

As Kawempe Muslim kept dominating proceeding, Nassazi nearly found her second on the day but she rushed to shoot rather than commit into the box and her feeble shot was easily collected by the goalkeeper.

Tooro Queens seemed to have improved in the second stanza but failed to get the cutting edge.

Victory means Kawempe Muslim move to six points in three games and will play Makerere University in their final group game on Friday.
