War To Change Gov’t! Bobi Wine Swiftly Writes To Newly-Elected US President Biden

Kampala: President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, on Saturday night hours were announced as winners of the 2020 presidential election news that sparked impromptu street celebrations around the country.

Upon their victories, a number of leaders globally have sent their congratulatory messages among these including Canadian leader Justin Trudeau who emphasized the close alliance between Canada and the US in his remarks.

“Congratulations Joe Biden and Kamala Harris,” Trudeau wrote on Twitter. “Our two countries are close friends, partners and allies. We share a relationship that’s unique on the world stage. I’m really looking forward to working together and building on that with you both.”

On the same vein, Ugandan youthful Presidential aspirant dubbed Kyadondo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine has sent a congratulatory message to the democratic winners JoeBiden and KamalaHarris urging all nations to respect the rule of democracy.

Kyagulanyi said, “I congratulate the people of America upon a successful election in which @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris were elected to office. We celebrate when democracy triumphs in any nation because that is what we clamour for. Wishing the president-elect a successful term of office.”

Additionally, in Europe, the reactions were led by an Irish politician, “I want to congratulate the new President-Elect of the USA [Joe Biden],” Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin tweeted after the result emerged.

Martin also referenced Biden’s Irish-American heritage, adding: “Joe Biden has been a true friend of this nation throughout his life and I look forward to working with him in the years ahead. I also look forward to welcoming him back home when the circumstances allow!”
