‘We Want Politics Out Of Music Industry’–Bebe Cool To Bobi Wine

The number one ‘Muzukulu’ to president Yoweri Museveni singer Moses Ssali aka Big Size Bebe Cool has urged Ugandan musicians to stop mixing music with politics.

Bebe Cool, who has in the past done several campaigns for the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM), made these remarks while addresisng his fans and supporetrs who had gathered at E–Zone Club in Kasubi on Friday night.

Bebe Cool said that “Some musicians have misled their supporters by turning the music industry into a political arena.”

He added that “Music should remain independent, just like politics should be.”

The Gagamel boss also noted that since the two don’t meet at any point, him and other musicians are ready to bring hit after hit until politics is separated from music.

Shortly after addresing his fans, Bebe Cool staged a massive show with singers under his Gagamel Crew who included Ronie Mutaabazi, who entertained the revellers to the fullest.

However, many revellers in the audience were overheard whispering that this was a message Bebe Cool was indirectly sending to his nemesis Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, the Kyadondo East legislator, a musician turned politician., whose music concerts have since been banned by police.

Bebe Cool also revealed that he recently did a new collabo with the B2C Entertainment titled ‘Amatu Magule.’

But some of his supporters were left whispering that the song has a message for Rema Namakula and Eddy Kenzo following their recent breakup.
