Wife To Former West Ankole Diocese Secretary Sent To High Court Over Murder

Bushenyi: Grade one Magistrates Court in Bushenyi presided over by Asanansio Mukobi has sent the wife of former West Ankole Diocesan Secretary Justine Atwiine and three others to high court over Murder.

It is alleged that on March 18, 2019, in Matiba village Bushenyi District, Justin Atwiine wife to Rev Canon Arthur Atwiine with the help of Generous Kyomugisha, Annah Tusiime and Moses Asiimwe murdered Florence Ainomugisha a wife to Moses Asiimwe.

Murdered Florence was the wife to Justine’s brother Moses Asiimwe who is also among the accused.

Grade one magistrate Mukobi on October 3, 2019, sent the four back to Nyamushekyera prison where they have been since March 2019.

According to Asanansio, the charges against them are too heavy to be handled by his court hence sending it to the high court for hearing.

Few months ago, Rev Canon Atwiine Arthur resigned as the West Ankore diocesan secretary on a study leave a thing that left many people wondering and not believing in what was happening. Some allege that these scandles might have been the route cause of his resignation.
