According to the eye witnesses, the piglet was dropped by two people this morning and took off immediately leaving it rotating around the parliament before police whisked it off in its van.

This comes just months after two members belonging to the Jobless Brotherhood pressure group last year dropped piglets at Parliament to protest the government’s decision to award Members of Parliament with Shs200m each for new cars.

Mr Joseph Mubiru and his colleague Ferdinand Luta arrived at Parliament at 9:50am with about 10 piglets in four sacks.

Upon arrival, the pair opened the sacks, letting loose the piglets to roam around the premises and this was the second time the Jobless Brotherhood members were protesting with pigs at Parliament. In July 2014, they did the same when they carried two piglets, painted yellow- the (NRM) color.
