It’s no secret that people love talent shows. Producer and judge Simon Cowell says he thinks it’s because shows like Idol let viewers see what really goes on behind the scenes. You get to watch someone be vulnerable, and you have a chance to see
their life change literally before your eyes.

If you also love watching people strut their natural talents on screen, then you need to clear your schedule because Nigerian Idol is back for its sixth season! Get ready to hear more ‘wow’, ‘turn up the volume’ and ‘did you see that?’ as you tune in every
week to see who the judges choose to go through each round.

For five seasons the show has given us some of the most entertaining auditions, gruelling eliminations, and world class performances – so expect nothing less from season six. In fact, Nigerians love the show so much that 3,600 people participated
in the auditions.

The pre-show started on Sunday, 14 March! Before we get to the 1 st episode on Sunday, 28th March, where you get to help the judges. That’s right, the power shifts to you to help contestants make the Judges’ List. Just think of it this way: you get to
make someone’s dreams a reality!
