You’re Shamelessly A Serial Defaulter! Buganda Ex Premier Axed From Engineers Association, Stopped From Practicing Over Non Payment

Kampala: The Engineers Registration Board (ERB) which is established under the Engineers Registration Act (ERA) Cap 271, as a statutory body with a mission to regulate and control engineers and their profession within Uganda, has kicked the former Buganda Kingdom Prime Minister JB Walusimbi among others out of its association over defaulting.

According to the letter signed by the association’s registrar,Eng Ronald Namugera, these Engineers are restricted from pursuing any job in the engineering field in Uganda and should not risk using the title Engineer anymore.

According to our sources from the association, these engineers have been not following rules and regulation of the association that includes paying for a membership and other operational fees something they have allegedly not been fulfilling.

Among the engineers who have since been exposed as serial defaulters include among others Eng.JB Walusimbi, Sidpar Yashwant, Aroon Samani Gokalds, Kubo Akalema Mukwaya, Nsimbe P. K, Daudi Murungi, De Gaster Zachary, Buluma Mangeni, Tom Okurut Anyoka, Shem Sunday, Frank Ariyo, John Penny Edgar, Deogratias Katwesigwa, Jonas Bantaluki. Felix Musinga, Valentine Mugisha, Kagoda Fred, Sam Mbazira Kayaga, Francis Baziraake Sande Odeera Maurice, Denis Sabiiti, Patrick Mugisha, Joseph Kibombo Ngatuna, Francis Wakabi, Bhogaligan Gunturi, Ramzan Kassamali Boga, and William Francis Kikubamusoke.

Fredrick Muwangwe Ssosi, Patrick Masuba, Edward Turyomurugyendo, Sarah Nalumansi, John Ayeya Luguma, Emmanuel JJunju, Robert Kilama, Ghebray Amanuel, Linda Isyagi, Sam Buturo, Nobert Matarytse, Andrea Mamenti and Emmanuel Akampurira.

According to information from its website, the engineer’s board is mandated to regulate and control engineers and their activities within Uganda and to advise the Government in relation thereto.

It also has wide-ranging powers to register, deregister, restore registration, suspend registration, hold inquiries, hear appeals and appear as respondents against a case brought against it in the High Court.
