Bloody Wednesday! UN Closes Offices As Bobi Wine Supporters March To EC Over Police Brutality

Kampala: The United Nations (UN) department of security and safety has advised its staff not to dare leave their homes today Wednesday coming to Kampala City. They have also advised all their drivers to park all the Organization’s vehicles and stay home. As if that’s not enough, they’ve also closed down its Kampala offices till further notice.

Their Advisory

The act they’ve done is not out of the blue, they’ve acted based on the security information they’ve gathered from the security apparatus that today Wednesday it might turn bloody at Jinja road based Electoral Commission offices as NUP presidential candidate, also Kyadondo East MP Hon.Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine with his supporters march to the commission to ‘get answers’ as to why the commission is allegedly quiet as security operatives continue to allegedly shoot to kill his supporters.

Our ever alert spy tiptoed UN staff’s WhatsApp group where their leadership sent the adversary.

“Dear all,

We’ve been reliably informed by police that Presidential candidate Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu will be heading to the Electoral Commission tomorrow 02.12.2020.

Based on the previous occurrences, police and millitary might respond in attempt to stop his visit which might result into violence.

Accordingly, the Kampala office will be closed and vehicles parked tomorrow 02.12.2020 as you await for communication. This is to ensure your safety. Clark”

The management also advised them to keep alert on any suspicious on any groupings in their vicinity.

“Monitor surroundings and ensure timely reporting to your respective coordinator centres,” notice further advises.

UN has gone ahead to alert all its staff across the country in Kampala, Entebbe, Gulu, Arua among others to stay in doors.

On Tuesday,Police fired rubber bullets and teargas cannisters at Bobi Wine supporters seriously injuring his music producer Sir Dan Magic and his Police officer Kato attached to his security detail given to him by the electoral commission. Several others are are still detained as we write this. Bobi has accused the electoral body of being silent as security allegedly shoot and kill his supporters. Police has so far shot to death atleast morethan 60 Bobi Wine supporters.
