The Anti-Corruption Unit, working in collaboration with the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), has arraigned Mr. Muledhu David, who claims to be the National Executive Secretary of the self-styled Uganda Boys Scouts Association, before the Makindye Magistrate’s Court.

Mr. Muledhu faces multiple charges including unlawful occupation of land belonging to another, malicious damage to property, conspiracy to commit a felony, forcible detainer, and forcible entry.

According to prosecution, Mr. Muledhu and seven other individuals allegedly forcefully took over the National Camping and Scouts Centre at Kaazi–Busaabala, Masajja Division, in Makindye Ssabagabo Municipality on June 24, 2025. The group is accused of violently disrupting the operations of the Uganda Scouts Association and causing significant property damage during the incident.

The co-accused—Buragahare Mujuni Patrick, Butumbwire Stephen, Mugisha John, Musoke Stephen Brian, Mununuzi Alex, Orwanga Michael Richard, and Anyango Francis—had earlier been charged in the same case.

Court remanded Mr. Muledhu until September 1, 2025, pending further proceedings.
