It was a moment of excitement at Entebbe International Airport (EBB) as the Pan African African Pyramid (PAP) team led by the Founding Speaker dubbed Chairman Andrew Irumba Katusabe Ateenyi welcomed famous Pan Africanist Joshua Marara Maponga III to Uganda ahead of popular PAP Global Awards 2023 Edition.
Joshua Maponga is a renowned Zimbabwean-born preacher, philosopher, motivational public speaker, theologian, author, writer, musician, entrepreneur and unparalleled Pan-Africanist.
On arrival at the airport, Maponga who was accorded the VIP treatment was showered with flowers by the PAP team and shared a light moment at the airport before he was driven to one of the swankiest hotels in the city that will accommodate him for all the days he will spend in Uganda.
Other international guests that have already arrived include Paul Flynn a Ugandan-Irish born in Germany, an internationally acclaimed environmental philanthropist under his founded Organization, Gro Foundation based in Europe.
Flynn is also a Peace Ambassador and was posted to East Africa by the United Nations Peacekeeping mission.
For some of our new readers, this will be the sixth edition of the PAP Global Awards that have for the last years been attracting hundreds of Pan Africanists across the globe to celebrate their forefathers’ sacrifices in the struggle for Black freedom.
Previously, PAP has recognized several Pan Africanists who have tirelessly fought to uplift their continent socially, economically and Politically among them including; Former Libyan President Col. Muammar Gaddafi, General Elly Tumwiine, Prof., Kajabago Ka-Rusoke, John Garang De Ma Bior, Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi, Fagil M. Mande, Winnie Mandela, His Excellence Major General Lekoa Solly Mollo (Rtd), King Ndahura II Kashagama Imara to mention but a few.
