Kampala: President Museveni directed the closure of the Democratic Governance Facility (DGF) the biggest donor to Uganda’s state and non-state actors.

It is worth noting that DGF is a multi-donor funding mechanism supported by Austria, Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the European Union to support state and non-state partners to strengthen governance, promote and protect human rights, enhance access to justice, and improve accountability in Uganda through various bodies and agencies.
