Museveni Promotes D/CMI Boss Col.Rugumayo To Brig.General, 62 To Major & 13 To Captain

Kampala: H.E the President and Commander-in-Chief of armed forces, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni yesterday promoted 76 UPDF Officers to various ranks.

Among those promoted include Deputy Chieftaincy Military Intelligence (CMI) boss, Colonel Abdul Rugumayo to Brig General, 62 promoted from Captain to Major & 13 from Lt to Captain.

Rugumayo was appointed into that position earlier this year and before assuming this office was serving as Deputy General Manager of Luwero industries.

At CMI, Rugumayo deputises Maj Gen James Birungi who took over from Maj Gen Abel Kandiho.
