In his first public interview since the passing of young business tycoon and rally champion, Rajiv Ruparelia, celebrated Ugandan comedian Salvador Idring has finally opened up about how the late entrepreneur profoundly impacted his life. Salvador revealed that Rajiv Ruparelia not only gave him a job at Sanyu FM, but also changed his family’s future by offering a generous fat salary, scholarships for his children, and even bought him a house.
Salvador, widely known for his sharp wit and engaging comedy, credits Rajiv Ruparelia with more than just employment—he describes the late businessman as a true benefactor who went above and beyond to support communities through his foundation (Salvador Foundation), when he at one time contributed shs30m to Salvador to start off his foundation.

“After giving me a huge salary, Rajiv ensured all my children received scholarships at Kampala Parents School (KPS),” Salvador said emotionally. “He also bought me a house where we live now, and he personally looked after my pregnant wife during those difficult months.”
