Mr.Kalema further noted that the exercise is meant to establish the referees’ fitness levels as well as to update and refresh their knowledge and skills in the discharge of their abilities.

“We are looking at updating the participants [referees] on the Laws of the Game as well as evaluate their fitness and technical abilities,” added Mr.Kalema.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time the referees’ fitness test has been carried out in Uganda noting the previous one that was held last year at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
