Kampala: In response to the growing need for well-trained professionals and educators in early childhood education, Victoria University Kampala has introduced Bachelor of Early Childhood Education program.
Recognizing the vital role played by nursery teachers and child-focused workers in shaping the formative years of young minds, Victoria University’s Early Childhood Education program aims to bridge the gap between existing qualifications and the evolving demands of the field.
According to Victoria University the newly introduced program has got a curriculum designed to cultivate a deep understanding of childhood development theories, effective teaching methodologies among others to equip graduates with knowledge and expertise to nurture the next generation.
To bring you up to speed, Victoria University’s Work Integrated Learning Programme places students in a natural working environment as part of the curriculum for every Programme hosted at this University.
Under the stewardship of Dr Lawrence Muganga as Vice Chancellor, VU also has the VClass, a digital blended learning platform which allowed students to learn remotely and virtually. Not only lectures are offered through this world-class system, but students are also able to do online tuition payments and online exams.
Upon admission, the University starts with the Career Readiness and Employability Programme, and students later join the Work Integrated Learning stage, where students are sent to various companies, schools, and industries to fit in the real world of work, even before graduation, with no hassle.
