Joint Security Forces Recover 200 Raided Heads Of Cattle Using Aerial Surveillance Helicopter

Police says that yesterday’s evening on 9/2/2022 at around 5pm received information that warriors had raided cattle from a grazing ground around Lokapel Junction, Nabilatuk District.

Together with DOTO 3rd Division and with the help of aerial surveillance police helicopter, the Forces managed to recover all the cattle numbering to about 200.

The army gunship was also called into action since the number of warriors were many.

The recovered cattle are being kept at Nabilatuk army barracks pending handover to owners today’s morning.

“We appreciate the high level of vigilance and quick report made by Community members of Lokapel junction to security agencies which has seen raided animals recovered in the shortest time,” says Police.

In another news at our crime desk, Police at Bukwiiri in Kyankwanzi district has arrested two persons with the help of the Canine dog over theft of motor vehicle and motorcycle number plates.

A case of theft of number plates UFM 504C and UBD 584N had been registered SD ref: 10/09/02/2022 of Bukwiri Police Station, Kyankwanzi district.

Police canine tracked one suspect by the name of Mukaru Abudu and motorcycle number plate UFM 504C recovered with two other suspected motorcycle number plates.

According to police, the suspect confessed and led its team to one of his accomplices, a one Kabakubya Isma who was subsequently arrested.
