Police have recovered the body of Susan Magara who was kidnapped by unknown people on her way home in Lungujja, Lubaga Division early this month.

The 28-year-old Magara worked as an administrator/Cashier at Bwendeiro Dairy Farm in Hoima, a family business owned by her dad, John Magara.

Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesman Mr Luke Owoyesigire has confirmed the death of Magara adding that her body was found on the Southern Bypass.
“It is true she is dead. Investigators are still at the scene. We shall give you details soon,” Mr Owoyesigire said.

Impeccable sources within the family who didn’t want to be told this reporter that her kidnappers demanded UGX 3Bilion in two weeks from her dad and warned the family that they would lose her if they involved security and media in the matter. It’s now believed family failed to raise the ransom within the deadline given to them and her kidnappers couldn’t keep her longer. This also explains why the family never wanted to involve security in the matter.
