Whoever bewitched Buikwe Woman Member of Parliament Judith Babirye, a gospel singer turned politician, is not about to give up.
The latest gossip from our Spies is that her marriage with Hon. Paul Musoke Ssebulime, the area Member of Parliament for Buikwe North Constituency, is currently on the rocks. Actually people in Buikwe and neighbours at the legislators’ home in Naalya, a city suburb, have spent several months without seeing Babirye in public with her husband, as would be the case with most newlywed couples. Indeed, word is going around that because of her marital woes with Ssebulime, Babirye decided to hibernate in Toronto, Canada, such that she can cool off from the stress she endured at home.
However, the happiest people in all this saga seem to be Ssebulime’s former wife Lukia Nantale and Babirye’s ex-hubby Samuel Niwo. It should be noted that before Babirye got married to Ssebulime in June 2018, she had bitterly separated from her ex-husband Niwo, after they developed severe marital misunderstandings. On the other hand, Ssebulime was officially hitched to his baby mama Nantale, who felt so spited and heartbroken when he dumped her for Babirye. Towards Babirye and Ssebulime’s wedding last year, Nantale spat a lot of venom at the couple and had no kind words for them at all. Now only God know how she is receiving the news of their current marital squabbles. Spies intimate that by the time Babirye fled her martial bed she had emotional, psychological and physical wounds sustained from clashes with Ssebulime.
