PAP Global Awards 2023: Here Is Why Hamis Kiggundu Was Recognized!

It was pomp and glamour on Saturday 26th August 2023 at Fairway Hotel where Pan African Pyramid (PAP) an umbrella organization for Pan Africanists across the globe, hosted the 6th edition of its awards commonly known as PAP Global Awards, an event that attracted hundreds of Pan Africanists to celebrate their forefathers.

The event that saw hundreds of participants proudly clad in their charming African attires was graced by famous Pan-Africanist dubbed Seventh Day Adventist Church Bishop Joshua Marara III Maponga from Zimbabwe and his wife, Cuban Ambassador to Uganda H.E Mrs.Tania Perez, UN Peace Keeping Ambassador to East Africa HE. Paul Flynn, a representative from the family of Martin Luther King Junior, and officials from various pro-African NGOs, cultural chiefs and politicians.

This year, PAP recognized 11 Pan Africanists, among them including Hamis Kiggundu who scooped Young & Iconic Dev’t Entrepreneur Award.

Here We Analyse Why PAP Awarding Committee Recognized Hamis Kiggundu;

Many Africans, for decades, bought their former colonizers’ narrative, that Africa is 3rd world, that if you want to thrive in anything, then you must leave African continent, go to the land of opportunities which is Europe and America in order for you to realize your dream and potential. Now look here, in our midst, there’s a simple man but not a simple profile.

If you’re looking for a man who has defied all such nonsensical narratives and risen to the occasion and proved to the world that success is not a preserve of a certain type of people in a certain geographical location of the world, then look for no further than Mr Hamis Kiggundu.

In his one of his numerous mindstriking books, Kiggundu actually tells all sundry that, regardless of your geographical location, color,race or sex, all you need to progress is “Reason and Reality”!
