Kampala: It was a glamorous day of August 27, 2011 when Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine and Wife Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi officially and religious marked the beginning of their marriage, a mega event that left Kampala city in shock.
Because of the above background, On August, 27 2020 the glorious, most blessed and popular couple at their multi-million home located at Busabala a city suburb, they celebrated their marriage anniversary as they marked their 9th wedding anniversary.
According to the couple’s friends, for the past 9 years, Bobi and Barbie’s holy matrimony journey has been a great one and inspiring to majority of the rising lovers.
“In fact, Bobi and Barbie are termed as a ‘Power couple’ based on how influential they are and the number of lives they have changed” a friend to the couple said.
On there other hand, Barbie revealed that the goodies she has enjoyed in Bobi and the way he has loved her without reservations, and also the way he elevated her status, it was a Godly reason for their togetherness.
Here is Babie’s message to Bobi on their 9th anniversary.
“Being loved back with no reservations is a blessing. Taata, you have loved me at my lowest and elevated me at every given opportunity never making me feel any less” she said in a message to her husband.
My nineteen years of staying under the same roof with you have been years of self-realization, utmost growth and total bliss. I am lucky to be your wife, to have you for a best friend and to be the mother of your children. I am excited about the coming times ahead. For better, for best, for the good and the pretty!

In response to her wife’s romantic message, the superhero in music industry dubbed politician as Kyadondo East legislator and currently hopeful president of Uganda Hon.Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu revealed that he emotionally recalls his vows to Barbie which have been more than his personal influence but also his late father’s efforts and dreams.
The ghetto gladiator asserted that he was urged by his late father Mzee J.W Ssentamu to keep his marriage with the Barbie fresh on a daily basis as it would be the only way to keep him resting in peace.
Son, this ring means a commitment [Holds Bobi Wine’s hand] and promise to LOVE someone’s daughter the same way that I have LOVED you. I know you have already loved her for 10 years but with this ring, it’s a covenant not only between you and her but between our two families and our communities. If you keep this commitment and promise, I will sleep well even in my grave“, said my father on 27th August 2011 in the dressing room.
Kyagulanyi added, “Dear Barbie Kyagulanyi, now you know that I LOVE YOU not only on my behalf but on behalf of my parents and all my people. It’s been 19 years and you’re still the one that makes my world go around.

Kyagulanyi met his wife, Barbara Itungo, while he was at Makerere University and she was an S6 student at Bweranyangi Girls’ Senior Secondary School.
After living together for over ten years, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine and Barbie Itungo tied the knot in August, 27 2020 at Rubaga Cathedral then later, the ghetto president and his wife host their guests to a reception at Serena Conference Centre.
The two hold a 19 year-old relationship with a blessing of four children; Solomon Kampala Nyanzi, Shalom Namagembe, Shadraq Shilling Mbogo, and Suubi Shine Nakaayi.
