A bus attached to Link Bus Services, registration number UBA 003S, with over 40 people on board has this morning caused an accident and left over 20 dead & dozens badly injured.
According to Uganda Police Traffic Directorate spokesperson Faridah Nampiima, the driver of this vehicles lost control and veered off Sebitoli road two kilometers away from Fort Portal-Kampala road.
Among those that have died on spot include juveniles for Alpine Medical Camp and Nampiima says their bodies have been rushed at Buhinga hospital for postmortem.
โ20 people have been confirmed dead, out of whom 13 are adults while 7 are juveniles. Out of the twenty, 11 are male and nine are female,โ Nampiima confirmed.
