The kukyala — a significant cultural ritual that marks the formal introduction of a bride-to-be to her future husband’s family — was conducted under the serene backdrop of Sembabule’s rolling hills and sun-drenched plains, reinforcing the deeply rooted traditions that continue to shape Ugandan family life.
