The entire Tooro sub-region and country at large are mourning the untimely and sad death of renown Engineer Edison Rusoke Kiraso Amooti, father of former Kabarole district Member of Parliament Beatrice Kiraso, who passed away on Monday afternoon.
Eng. Kiraso, 88, passed on after a longtime battle with cancer, according to family members.
A tentative burial programme released by his family members indicates that there will be a service and vigil at Mr. Richard Kamajugo’s residence in Mutungo.
On Wednesday January 1, 2020 there will be a requiem service at All Saints Cathedral in Nakasero, starting 2:00PM.
That will be followed by a service and vigil at late Kiraso’s home in Kiburara village, Hakibale parish, Kabarole District, on Thursday.
The burial ceremony will then be held on Friday January 3, 2020 at Kiburara village, starting at 11:00Am with prayers.
