Kampala: Nigerian super star, singer songwriter and record producer, David Adedeji Adeleke, better known as Davido has joined a long list of international artists who have pledged to support the political dreams of their fellow singer turned politician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine of Uganda.
Davido via his twitter handle broke the good news where he vowed to pour all his support for Wine in the forthcoming 2021 general elections where, he is struggling to end a three decade + Gov’t of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
“I love wat bobi wine is doing, he has my full support in 2021” Davido tweeted.

It is worth noting that recently Davido reaffirmed his interest to join politics and run for office saying the dream came at a younger age when his uncle, Ademola Adeleke contested for the office of the governor of Osun State in 2018.
“It started with my uncle. It was the first time me being of age and my family member (my uncle) was running for office…See how God works, last born of Dad’s family, and he has never been in politics before. In Yoruba tradition when a person dies, they will give his family to finish the tenure but them no agree, they conducted the election and he won,” narrated Davido.
The 26- year old Nigerian star joins a long list of high profile musicians to show full support for Bobi Wine including legendary Jamaican dancehall star Mr Vegas, Bujju Banton among others, who offered to campaign for Bobi Wine in the forthcoming 2021 Presidential elections.
The Wakanda singer made the announcement through his twitter handle just a day after he hailed Bobi Wine as a great King.
I will come and campaign for you when you are ready bro! Africa Stand Up! This is the future! I met this man! He could have stuck to his music & watch our people suffering continue. The sacrifice is real.
