Kampala: According to the latest landing on our Pan Africanism desk, fallen professor Kajabago Karusoke who succumbed to COVID-19 yesterday is to be given state funeral-TheSpy Uganda reports.
It has been established that the helicopter will fly Professor’s body from Victoria hospital in Bukoto to Bombo Military Barracks for preservation until burial day which is yet to be decided by the army leadership and his immediate family.
After deciding on the burial date, Kajabago’s body will then be picked from Bombo and flown to Tooro by military helicopter and buried at his ancestral home in Mirongo village, Mukunyu town council,Kyenjojo District.
“As of now the army has taken over his burial arrangements and there’s no congregating due yo covid-19. His body is being flown to Bombo Barracks from here (Ntinda),” his young brother Dr Otanga Rusoke told PAP speaker Andrew Irumba Katusabe.
Prof Kajabago Karusoke who was a staunch member of Pan African Pyramid and senior presidential advisor to H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on ideology, senior Lecturer at National Leadership Institute (NALI) Kyankwanzi died yesterday Monday, 14/6/2021 at 6pm at Victoria Hospital Bukoto, where he was battling with COVID-19 for the last three weeks.
