Manchester United central back defender Harry Maguire has apologised to Man United fans following their dreadful defeat to Tottenham on Sunday afternoon.
United’s dire performance did not only lead to an embarrassing defeat to Spurs but also left millions of fans profoundly anxious.

The Red Devils are just three points away from the relegation zone and Maguire, who was hurt about the defeat, has promised Man United fans that United will do all they can to ensure they get back to winning ways.
“Today was totally unacceptable, we apologise to the fans, you deserve so much more. There are no excuses. One thing for sure is that we will do everything we can to put this right. We’re all hurting but this is the start of a long season with everything to play for. We must stick together.,” Harry Maguire said on Instagram.
Bruno Fernandes scored the opening goal from the penalty spot in the 2nd minute of the game but his early strike would backfire as Tottenham scored six following the Portuguese effort.
Tanguy Ndombele scored the equaliser. Son Heung-Min put Tottenham in front before Harry Kane and Son would score the third and fourth goal respectively before half-time.
In the second half, Sergei Aurier scored the fifth after beating David de Gea from the left side of the penalty spot. Some minutes later, Harry Kane would make it 6 from the penalty spot after Paul Pogba had fouled Ben Davies inside the penalty box.
