Vipers SC on Monday unveiled Plascon paints as the new sponsor on a two-year deal worth UGX400M, a contract that starts with effect from Wednesday when the venoms host Bright Stars at St Mary’s Kitende.
The deal was reached upon by Plascon Managing Director Santosh Gamte and the Club President Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa. Santosh handed over a dummy check to Mulindwa after signing the contract with great joy.
According to Santosh, the facilities at Kitende show how first-class and ambitious the club is adding that it is what attracted them to work with the club.
“We are the number one painting company in the country and we are partnering with the number one football club so we are happy to associate with Vipers”. Mr. Santosh added.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mulindwa singled out ambition, efficiency, achievement-driven working rather than talking as the similarities between the two partners that have made the partnership possible.
Mulindwa added that the partnership is historical because it is a step to the development of football in the country.
He further noted that the club is selective in choosing sponsors, they partner with companies with integrity which Plascon as the number one painting company has.
Plascon will now appear at the back of the Vipers jerseys just below the player numbers.
